Not everyone has the time to work in public service, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have an impact on your community. Democracy doesn’t have to start and end at the voting booth.
One of the goals listed by the Columbia City Council at a recent work session was promoting community involvement in government. So if you have suggestions, concerns or general comments for your elected officials, let them know!
In the spirit of generating citizen involvement, we have created a partial list of government officials and how to contact them. You can view this list here, or by using the now-permanent link at the top of the blog.
The list is a bit of a work in progress, but we will be updating it with Boone County contact information and additional City of Columbia contacts as time goes on.
