Luetkemeyer issues two releases

Candidate for the Republican Ninth Congressional District nomination Blaine Luetkemeyer has recently issued two releases, one about health care and one about gas prices.

The first release states Luetkemeyer has signed a pledge to work across partisan lines toward legislation that “seeks to provide people with access to quality, affordable health care; strengthen Social Security; provide greater access to retirement plans; and develop policies that ensure all workers, regardless of age, can continue to work and contribute to society.”

The second release states that Luetkemeyer will work toward offshore exploration of oil, including looking at lifting the ban on offshore drilling along the coasts.

” People I talk to during my travels across the District have made it clear that they are sick and tired of being held hostage by foreign oil producing nations that would do us harm,” he said in the release. “Congress needs to stop wasting time and allow environmentally friendly offshore oil exploration.”
