Brief Biography:
I have reported on public safety and city government for the Missourian, where I’m also an assistant city editor. I worked at The Maneater, most recently as the MU student paper’s editor-in-chief, and The Omaha World-Herald.

My Career Goals: After a few years’ reporting, I’d like to be an assigning editor at a regional newspaper.
Why Journalism Interests Me: I’ve always been a reporter at heart. I started a family newspaper when I was little, and I’ve known that I’ve wanted to do journalism since middle school. I can’t imagine doing anything else.
Other Interests: Outside of the newsroom, Elliot dabbles in cooking and enjoys a good book, movie or TV show.
