Brief Biography: I am a junior at MU, where I’m studying journalism and art history. I began reporting for the Missourian in the spring of 2008 and have since served as the Assistant City Editor for the Public Life beat.

My Career Goals: I have a few possible career goals in mind. I hope to go to law school and end up working in the art world for a museum or an arts related organization.
Why Journalism Interests Me: I enjoy the fast pace of journalism and the feeling of working toward the public good. Journalism serves a vital role in democratic society, and I am proud to be a part of that.
Other Interests: Most of my free time is spent drawing, baking or reading. My favorite author at the moment is Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Travel is also really important to me. I have been to Europe several times, where I traveled around countries such as England, France, Switzerland, and Italy. As an art history major, these trips have given me great opportunities to experience some wonderful art first hand.
