Council members open their doors to the public

Councilmen Karl Skala and Jerry Wade and Councilwoman Barbara Hoppe have invited residents to sit and discuss public issues with them on Saturday, Jan. 31 at various locations, according to a press release.

Third ward Councilman Karl Skala will hold his “office hours” from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Cherry Street Artisan, 11 S. Ninth Street, Suite 10.

Ward four Councilman Jerry Wade will field comments and questions at the Rendezvous Coffee House from 10:30 to noon. The Rendezvous Coffee House is located at 3304 Broadway Business Park Ct.

Sixth ward councilwoman Barbara Hoppe will take questions and comments at The Main Squeeze from noon to 1:30 p.m. The Main Squeeze is located at 28 S. Ninth Street. Also, residents may schedule a time to join Councilwoman Hoppe for a “Walk & Talk” around Stephens Lake Park by contacting her at (573) 443-5107 or e-mailing ward6@GoColumbiaMo.com.
