Compact fluorescent bulbs are not being accepted but the city has released a fact sheet on proper disposal of CFLs. Examples of items being accepted are thermometers, blood pressure cuffs, and thermostats.
Drop offs should be made from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday or from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday. Any large items can be arranged for pick up by calling 573-634-2436.
