  • School board comes out against tax-increment financing (Columbia Missourian)     The importance of the Tax Increment Financing Commission’s vote on the the redevelopment of two downtown properties was quickly apparent at the Columbia Board of Education’s meeting Monday, when the board decided to change plans and take a vote on the issue instead of just hear a report.
  • Mid-Mo changes up in air (Columbia Daily Tribune)     Plans are moving forward for University of Missouri Health Care to take over operation of the Mid-Missouri Mental Health Center on July 1, even though the actual transfer of the facility to the university is still pending.
