Columbia man arrested after vehicle pursuit: (MU) A Columbia man was arrested after a vehicle pursuit early Wednesday, according to a release from the Boone Country Sheriff’s Department.

No one was injured during the pursuit.

Schools try to find more ways to save: (CT) After months of budget cuts and financial concerns, last night’s Columbia Board of Education meeting focused on items intended to save the district money.

One major item approved last night was a plan to renovate and add 40,000 square feet to the District Administration Building at 1818 W. Worley St. so the district can stop leasing two buildings.
