Election Day is upon us

Midterm elections are Tuesday, and in Boone County, polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. You must bring a valid form of identification to vote. Acceptable forms include:

  • Voter ID card from Boone County.
  • Driver’s license (from a state other than Missouri is acceptable).
  • Identification card issued by a state agency.
  • ID card issued by a higher education institution.
  • Federal government-issued ID (such as a passport).
  • A copy of a current utility bill, bank statement, government check or paycheck.

You may look up your voter information and polling place on the Boone County clerk website.

  1. I would love to see an article about the new Fast Lane Pass (might have been around in the primaries as well but I didn’t notice it until the last minute). Not sure of the security on those since I can print off anyone’s pass from the county clerk’s website and according to one person on Facebook, they were not asked for anything else when presenting their pass. I was asked for my driver’s license since I had an “old” registration if I understood the poll worker correctly.
