Secretary of State’s voter database is back online

5:37 p.m.

As of 2:00 p.m., the Secretary of State’s voter database is back online, according to a story from St. Louis Post-Dispatch reporter Tony Messenger.  The voter database was down for much of the morning, which drew the ire of Republican Roy Blunt, who is running against Secretary of State Robin Carnahan in a highly contested U.S. Senate race.

The database keeps track of registration and polling information for voters.  A spokeswoman for Carnahan said that there were no reports of voters who were unable to vote because of database problems.
