Columbia Fair Housing Symposium on Friday, April 29

A variety of government and non-profit groups will put on a public fair housing symposium tomorrow, Friday, April 29. The conference runs from 9 a.m. to noon at the Sanford-Kimpton Building, 1005 W. Worley and is free to the public. Representatives from the Missouri Commission on Human Rights, the City of Columbia, University of Missouri School of Law, the Columbia Board of Realtors, the US Department of Housing and Urban Development will discuss numerous topics including:

  • Missouri Human Rights Act
  • Universal Design
  • Recent Developments in Fair Housing Law
  • The Fair Housing Act
  • Pending Legislation
  • City of Columbia’s Human Relations Ordinance
