Webber touts fourth education endorsement

Missouri House 23rd District candidate Stephen Webber announced his endorsement by the Missouri School Administrators Political Action Committee. The group is the fourth education organization Webber in the August 5 Democratic Primary.

“I’m proud to have earned the endorsement of four major education organizations in Missouri,” Webber said in a statement. “Education issues are at the center of my campaign. As a State Representative I will fight to ensure there is adequate funding for public schools, including early childhood education programs, and to keep the University of Missouri financially stable and academically free.”

Webber adds this endorsement to education endorsements already received from the Missouri National Education Association, the Missouri State Teachers Association, and the American Federation of Teachers Missouri.

Webber is opposed by Cande Iveson in the 23rd district which makes up much of western Columbia. The race will be decided by the primary because no Republican has filed.
